What is the recruitment procedure?

In general, Deutsche recruits on campus for opportunities in the United States, Europe, Asia and Japan. Candidates are selected based on academic record, level of interest in Deutsche Bank and work experience. Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not required. However, we also accept applications from universities where we do not recruit on campus. All applicants must complete the online application form to be considered.

The interview process differs across divisions and regions, however, it will ty with a first round interview and in some regions candidates may also take part in a meeting at an assessment centre. This may be a panel interview and candidates may also be asked to take a numerical or diagrammatic test, or participate in a case study. Applicants will be informed of their particular interview process prior to the interview.

Our interviews are competency based. This means the interviews attempt to highlight the candidate's aptitude for the positions the bank is seeking to fill. They will be asked to show how their experiences demonstrate these competencies.
