细节决定成败，标点符号使用的正确与否，也在从细微之处检验着学生对知识的掌握情况和运用能力，下面小编就来和大家说说那些误选的原因，希望大家可以引以为鉴!
一、不细致，想当然
同学们在做题时，往往忽略了审题环节，仅凭自己的直觉，想当然地选了一个错误答案。粗心大意是ACT英语考试失分的一大原因。如:
I found an expensive, long, turquoise prom dress on the discountrank.
A. NO CHANGE
B. expensive long turquoise prom dress
C. expensive long, turquoise prom dress
D. expensive, long, turquoise, prom dress
第一次做这个题目，部分同学会想当然地选择D。但是我们仔细审题过后会发现，D是错误的。逗号的使用规则的`确是规定了逗号可以用来断开一系列的事物，但是对于这个“一系列的事物”也有明确的规定，它们必须是同一词性、同一结构的事物。而在这个句子中expensive,long,turquoise是形容词，但是prom是名词。所以正确答案应该是A。
二、忽略句子结构，单纯生搬硬套
大多数情况下，标点符号题更多考的还是句子结构。锁定句子主干才是真正的解题关键。如：
For almost two millennia, the yew anevergreen tree with a poisonous fruit and a twisted trunk, was scorned orfeared by many people, particularly Europeans.
A. NO CHANGE
B. yew, an evergreen tree, with a poisonous fruit

同学们看到题目之后会觉得一头雾水，不知道该从何处入手。其实做这类题目的关键就是锁定句子主干。
Foralmost two millennia, the yew an evergreen tree with a poisonous fruitand a twisted trunk, was scorned or feared by many people, particularlyEuropeans.
这样我们就能很清楚地看出 an evergreen tree with a poisonous fruit and a twisted trunk 是 the yew的同位语。所以正确答案是C。
三、只刷题，不归纳
部分同学做题只注重“量”，却忽略了“质”。一味地埋头刷题，从未静心归纳，以致于同一个知识点一错再错。

以上两道题看上去都是考的都是动名词，但是两者之间有着“质”的不同。
第一题中的动名词reinforcing my suspicions是状语，修饰的是前面整个句子，所以选C。第二题中动名词是定语，修饰The morning sun，所以选A。
由此可见，我们要学会归纳，分析错误的原因，仔细对比题与题之间的联系和区别，这样我们才能真正做到举一反三。
